It’s 80 Degrees Today & I am Doing my Happy Dance!!

The sun is shining, the birds are singing and yes it’s only 80 degrees. These beautiful days in NC are my favorite. I know, I know, it’s still August and we’re surely going to have at least a few more days that will melt the pavement, but I love these mild days. Fall is by far my favorite season as it encompasses many of the things I love most including football, Halloween, the kid’s soccer practices and routine. Yes, I even look forward to the routine that this time of year brings. I’ve discovered that about myself as I’ve gotten older that yes, I am a routine person. Don’t get me wrong, I love the hustle and bustle of the summer and all of the adventures we always get into, but I also like when things are settling down and life gets back to a steady rhythm. Maybe I’m getting old, I don’t know, but I sure am looking forward to very near future when I can drinking my coffee on my porch in sweat shirt and jeans.
